Crime Statistics

The 2018-2019 Clery Security Report and Fire Safety Report for Students Living on Campus Act contains the Clery crime statistics reported to the Bowie State University Department of Public Safety for the calendar years 2016, 2017 and 2018 and can be found on pages 35 through 41 that include the crime statistics at Bowie State University and surrounding communities, as well as satellite facilities where BSU students may attend classes. The statistics have been categorized separately as on campus and in the resident halls. The two columns combined give the total incidents on campus.

The Clery Annual Security Report also includes information regarding crime prevention, emergency response and evacuation procedures, procedures for reporting and crimes, violence against women, sexual offense programs, sexual misconduct policy, Title IX investigations, and education and prevention programs and many other topics.

Please make yourself familiar with this valuable information in the 2018-2019 Clery Security Report during you stay at Bowie State University.
