Jobs and Internships for Students

This is our specialty! If you find students who are concerned about any aspect of their job search, please refer them to us. We can help them locate jobs, create resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, register for upcoming job fairs, and connect with employers coming to campus.

The Career Development Center subscribes to several online internship and job databases that list local, regional, national and international employment opportunities in a variety of career fields. In addition to your network of employers, please encourage students to check out the search engines, on our Job and Internship Resources web page.

Job Search Assistance

Students who need to create a resume, prepare for interviews and job fairs, develop elevator speeches, and research employers; can find several resources on our Job Search Assistance web page.

Handshake is the name of the database that the Career Development Center uses to contact students, post jobs and internships, and schedule on-campus interviews. Students access the system to sign up for events, upload resumes and cover letters, search for jobs and internships, and view career advice videos and handouts.
