Women in Computer Science

The Women in Computer Science at Bowie State University aims to promote and support women in computer science. We provide guidance, community, and motivation to women in tech, empowering them to achieve their academic and professional goals. 

Our platform offers a social, technical, and networking community where members showcase their valuable contributions to tech, provide insights to the Department of Computer Science to improve learning outcomes for women, and design events that empower women to be future leaders in tech. Our club's primary goal is to increase the participation and retention of women in computer science, thereby improving diversity and inclusion for underrepresented groups in the tech industry.
