Are you a Bowie State University undergraduate or graduate student with a business idea or seeking to take an existing business to the next level? Do you have a partner or co-founder?
The Summer Launch Program (SLP) is a paid incubator program hosted by the Entrepreneurship Academy in collaboration with the Summer Undergraduate Research Institute (SURI) and Freddie Mac. Over a nine-week period, teams of at least two or three students at the most, will work full-time to accelerate the development of their idea or business with business and industry experts.
Using the lean start-up methodology, teams will gain traction with customers, and will be equipped to build a case for investment with seed funders. In addition, participating teams will work on the essential components of their business model and collect the data to validate their idea and value positions to respective customer segments.
This opportunity is open to BSU undergraduate and graduate students of any major who want to launch a new or grow an existing business venture. Applications will be available February 2021!
