30 Day Wellness Challenge

"A Better U" Wellness Challenge

April 1- April 30, 2020

Committing to one of the seven habits listed will increase your overall wellness in mind, body and soul.

  1. Nutrition: Eat nutritious and healthy food - Real Food Challenge
  2. Exercise: Perform a physical activity for 30 minutes - 30 Day Workout Challenge
  3. Hydration: drink ounces of water equal to your body weight divided by two each day
  4. Well-being: learn a new practice to help you feel happier and more connected - Wellbeing Activities
  5. Reading: read a book (non school-related) that inspires you - Reading Activity
  6. Breathing: practice deep breathing for five minutes each day
  7. Reflection: at the end of the day, record in your journal how the day went - Reflection Activities

How to Start

  1. Complete intake survey to sign up
  2. Follow daily activities
  3. Track your progress
  4. Post pictures on Instagram @bsuwellness
  5. Tell two friends

Faculty and staff members, students want to hear from you. Participate in the Who's Who at BSU by sharing your perspective of what ‘Wellness” means to you.

Submit a 30-second video clip with a response to the following:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Department
  • What does Wellness mean to you?
  • What type of wellness programs would you like to see at Bowie State University?

Video clips should not exceed 30 seconds. Please record from waist up in business professional attire. Participants should send their videos to the bsuwellness Instagram account or by email to hwwc@bowiestate.edu.
