Advising Appointments

The Academic Advising Center is now advising students on an appointment basis. You may schedule an appointment online through iCAN/Starfish. Refer to the Academic Advisor Directory if you are unsure of your advisor. Undecided majors should contact the Academic Advising Center.

Virtual Advising

NOTE: Beginning April 22, each Tuesday will be designated "Walk-in Advising Day." Students may log into our virtual room or walk into the office for advising (Thurgood Marshall Library - Lower-level, Suite 082).

Advising Basics 

Academic Advising is mandatory for all students. You cannot register for classes until you have been advised and your advising holds lifted from your record by your advisor. 

The Academic Advising Center will advise only students assigned to Advisors within the Academic Advising Center (AAC). AAC advisors are as follows:
