The Academic Advisement Center (AAC) at Bowie State University is committed to assisting students in identifying and completing their educational goals in a friendly, helpful, and professional environment. The Center’s professional advisors deliver services to all students at the University, but they focus primarily on the advisement, development, and of first and second-year students.
Advising for Winter & Fall 2024
Continuing Students
Academic advising is by appointment only. Students may log onto ICAN/Starfish to schedule an appointment with their assigned advisor. You may utilize our Academic Advisor Directory to assist with identifying your assigned advisor.
Registering for Classes
Registration for winter/spring classes will begin on Monday, November 13, 2023. Please make sure you are advised and ready to register!
Students having earned 60 or more credits must schedule an academic advising appointment with their department.
