Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Restructuring of Academic Affairs Placed on Hold

I want to make you aware that the restructuring plan for the Division of Academic Affairs has been placed on hold until further notice. Provost DeBrenna Agbenyiga and I will be meeting with the campus community through the university’s shared governance groups to get input on the proposed changes.

We will look forward to hearing from the BSU community about the needs of the university as we look to strengthen our work to improve student success.
