Departure of Business School Dean Lawrence McNeil

I write to share that Dr. Lawrence McNeil, Dean of the College of Business, has resigned his position at Bowie State University. His last day on campus will be Friday, September 15, 2023.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. McNeil for his dedicated service to our students and the entire university during his time with us. The College of Business has made significant progress to expand student opportunities under his leadership.

In the interim, I have asked Dr. Regina Tawah, professor of accounting, to serve as Acting Dean until a search for a new dean can be conducted.

Please join me in wishing Dr. McNeil well in his future endeavors.
