Bowie State University Closed on Jan. 26-27 Due to Inclement Weather

Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. University to Close Early for Winter Break

In the spirit of the season, I am pleased to announce that Bowie State University will close on Friday, Dec. 21, allowing an early start of the winter break for faculty and staff who have given so generously of their time and talents to support our students throughout the year. Online systems will remain available on Friday for last-minute posting of final grades.
