Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed January 26-27, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Senior Leadership Change

I write today to make you aware of an important change in the senior administration of the university. Effective today, October 15, Mr. Wayne Rose, Vice President for Information Technology and CIO, will begin an administrative sabbatical leave that will extend until March 2019. 

Ms. Marivic Weiss, Associate Vice President for Information Technology, will serve as Interim Vice President during this period. I ask that you give your full support to Ms. Weiss as we work to maintain the critical operations of the Department of Information Technology that impact the entire campus.
