(BOWIE, Md.) – Hundreds of Bowie State University alumni and friends are making plans to connect with the campus community during Homecoming 2018 week from Oct. 7-13.
The BSU Bulldogs football team faces Virginia State University in the Homecoming 2018 game on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 1 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium. Alumni looking to reconnect with old friends and make new memories have multiple events to choose from all week long.
Homecoming day starts with the annual OTC Parade that puts Bulldog pride on display in the city of Bowie on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 9-11 a.m., ending at Bowie Town Center in front of Macy’s. The celebration continues at Bowie State with the family-friendly Greek BBQ Cook-off, starting at 11:30 a.m., where alumni and friends can enjoy music and food before the big game. After the game, spend the rest of the evening with friends at the Bulldog Nation 5th Quarter.
For student events, performers can compete at Bowie’s Got Talent for a chance to be the opening act for the OTC Concert, which will feature hip hop artists Gunna, Money Bagg Yo, G Herbo and Lil Baby.
