Baltimore Orioles Have University Night Celebrating HBCUs

(BOWIE, Md.) – The Baltimore Orioles will celebrate Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) on Thursday, September 28, at 6:35 p.m. at Oriole Park in Baltimore. Bowie State University along with Coppin State University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Morgan State University, Howard University and other HBCUs will attend the event.
Bowie State’s Symphony of Soul Marching Band will be featured during the game and BSU alumni, students and staff will cheer for the home team Baltimore Orioles as they battle their division foe Boston Red Sox. It will be a night of camaraderie, education and team spirit that you’ll want to experience. And to make it even more exciting, for every ticket purchased, $5 will be donated to the university contributing to BSU’s ongoing success.
