Bowie State Features Fall 2023 Senior Thesis Exhibition

Works of Fine Arts, Visual Communication and Digital Media Artists Highlighted

(BOWIE, Md.) – The Fine and Performing Arts Department proudly to presents the work of its best and brightest with the Fall 2023 Senior Thesis Exhibition – Beyond the Frame on December 8 with an opening reception at 4 p.m. followed by screenings, talks with the student-artists and a fashion showcase.  

The exhibition features thesis projects from graduating seniors majoring in fine arts and visual communication and digital media arts with projects covering a range of topics such as advertising design, animation, cinema and fashion design. Some of the works include portrait photographs, graphic design campaigns for cereal and coffee, mannequins fitted with clothing that ranges from campus casual to Las Vegas Strip extravagant and interactive exhibits, including a piece that features a narrative illustrated in comic book style.  

All events will be held in the Fine and Performing Arts Center and are open to the public. The exhibits will remain on display through Jan. 19, 2024.
