(BOWIE, Md.) – The Bowie State University Gospel Choir will host its fall concert "A Gospel Christmas" this Saturday, December 2 at 5 p.m. in the Dionne Warwick Theater in the Fine & Performing Arts Center. Admission is free and open to the public.

Featured guests include keyboardist Marcus Burke, Pastor Tony Hernon of Grace Nation Ministry (Capitol Heights, MD), and youth singer Jordan Brown.

Choir selections will include “Now Behold the Lamb”, “Silent Night”, and “Emmanuel” among other songs that Bowie State professor and Gospel Choir director LaTonya Wrenn hopes will fill the audience with holiday cheer to start the season.

“We want to give inspiration and bring holiday spirit to the community,” said Professor Wrenn. “We hope the audience will be motivated, uplifted and full of joy when they come to the concert. They don’t want to miss it.”
