Cyberspace can be used to facilitate good or enable malign influences. Ultimately, how it is used will not be determined by bots but by humans. The inception of cyber was to protect the human way of life. Cyber isn’t justbits and bytes but an integral part of every facet of society - the arts, law enforcement, healthcare, education, etc. Careers are available in the private for profit and non-profit, and public sectors. In this session we will discuss how cyber is a reflection of our social consciousness. The diversity of threats and challenges regarding cyber require a diversity of thought and people-people like you!

In this session we will discuss popular social media platforms and common misconceptions about privacy, responsibility, and safety.
