Thesis Statement

The theme of my senior exhibition is to inform people about Bowie State University by allowing alumni to share their experiences with Bowie State University. This project is about allowing students and alumni to share their experiences at Bowie State University. My purpose is to give a voice to the university community and through a magazine as well as supporting content. I also want to put a spotlight on my university and let the students, alumni, and the public know the history, legacy, and power of Bowie State University.

  • As a child, I always have had a passion for art and design and for creating work that will draw people's attention. As a designer, my goal is to bring life into my work and make sure my design meets the clients' needs as well as provides solutions. I am inspired when I see people respond to my work. I have also learned the need of my clients and to not give up even when things can become challenging. I have become proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud and using applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects. All the clubs and organizations that I have been a part of will continue to help my skill set to impact the world through my art. Over the years I have received a lot of messages from people asking me to design for them. I have design logos, award flyers, album covers, etc.
