An Ordinary Good Friday with Obituary News!
By Taylor Johnson
Good Friday's bells ring disaster.
Magnolias imply asynchronous days,
but the Academy says otherwise.
Classified advertisements plaster the concrete
with bolden letters reign supreme—“ALL SHOTS FIRED”.
Let us set the scene.
Sweat cascades down the valley between the eyes.
Breath forgotten to pulsating melodies of silence slicing through the whispered cries.
Afflict the round of applause. Foreshadow the standing ovation as the curtains rest.
Directive: If the named numbers become too high, or the excitement of open season brings thirst to the lips. Cacophony the wind with capsuled burnt embers of snuffed-out candles accompanying vibrant dusty red flakes pilfering the air. Mark the ordinary casual nobody; they appear meek. Don’t forget to breathe, then blink.
Take care to read the policy. We have quotas to meet! All are welcome— walking deadlines, men of no importance, Saints, Volunteers, and those who prefer to dance the Blues. All will be fairly compensated for their time and participation.
That's live on Obituary News!
