Morgan Stanley Day
The second annual Morgan Stanley Day took place on May 4, 2022, at Bowie State University. This one-day event, sponsored by Morgan Stanley, a wealth management firm, and hosted by the College of Business, occurred in the Student Center Theater. All BSU students were welcome to attend the event.
Students and faculty had the opportunity to interact with top managers from Morgan Stanley to discuss building entrepreneurs, applied data analytics, soft skills needed for career readiness, financial wellness and life at Morgan Stanley. Representatives from Barrons in Education (Dow Jones), were present to discuss their role in the College of Business. The College of Business has a membership in Barrons in Education, a business school experiential learning program, sponsored by Morgan Stanley.The V.P. Head of Sales from Black Women Talk Tech hosted the “Building Entreprenuers” session. Recruiters from Morgan Stanley, seeking students for internships and permanent employment, were present throughout the day to network and recruit students for career opportunities at local offices.
