Jan. 28-30 Virtual Operations, Campus Remains Closed

Bowie State University will continue with virtual operations for all classes and office operations through Friday, January 30, 2026. The campus will be closed to all non-essential personnel, and all campus activities are canceled. All buildings except residence halls and the dining hall will be closed. Essential personnel should report on time. This is due to the extended time required to clear the extensive snow and ice accumulation on campus. University crews are making every effort to resume campus operations, as a safe return to in-person learning and work remains our top priority. BSU Bike Tour

Join us for the fourth annual BSU Bike Tour! Choose from four fun and challenging rides through beautiful Prince George’s and Anne Arundel counties in Maryland and support student scholarships and other charities.

Courses

  • Loop Road on BSU Campus (2-mile course for unlimited loops around the course)
  • 20 Miles to Glory (20-mile course)
  • The Bulldog Chase (46-mile course)
  • The Bowie Metric (65-mile course)
  • Century (100-mile course)

Registration

  • Early Registration: $45 (March 16 - June 30)
  • Regular Registration: $55 (June 30 – August 25)
  • Late Registration: $65 (August 25 – September 8)
  • Loop Road on BSU Campus (unlimited): $25 (adults)
  • Loop Road on BSU Campus (unlimited): $10 (children 12 & under)

NOTE: Online registration will close at 11:45 p.m. on Friday, September 7. Your registration fee is non-refundable.

What Your Fee Includes

Your registration fee includes:

  • Route support, Support and Gear (SAG) vehicles and manned rest stops with food and beverages
  • Route cue-sheets and rider ID numbers for bike and rider
  • A celebratory, post-ride meal in Bowie State University’s Student Center
