Winter 2016 Commencement

On December 16, 2016, roughly 325 students graduated from Bowie State University during a ceremony held at the A.C. Jordan Arena in the Leonidas S. James Physical Education Complex on the Bowie State campus. Dr. Carla Hayden, the first woman and first African American to lead the Library of Congress, was the Commencement speaker.
