Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Spring 2020 Commencement

About 700 Bowie State University graduates and their families celebrated their achievement in BSU’s first-ever virtual commencement celebration for the spring 2020 class on Friday, June 26, 2020, at 3 p.m. New York Times bestselling author, social entrepreneur and decorated Army combat veteran, Wes Moore, along with a host of celebrity entertainers, sports heroes, prominent business leaders, and state and local elected officials, delivered video shout-outs during the live presentation.
