Research and Writing: The Literature Review

This workshop will introduce students to the idea of note taking while investigating sources to be used later on in the writing process. It will also show students how to create bibliography/ reference pages that are congruent with their discipline (APA vs. MLA). This workshop is designed to help demystify the Literature Review molehill that is often turned into a mountain by students. After this workshop, students will know exactly what a literature review is and why it’s important to the research process.
