Engage 2020: Breaking Down the Ballot

Using a political town hall format, we will solicit students’ issue questions via social media, select students, and their issue to ask panelists. Engagement in political discourse increases civic engagement. We would like the student’s issues to be heard, so they can become community advocates.

Breaking Down the Ballot

This segment will be co-hosted by two BSU graduate students who recently won grants to educate students about the voting process. Topics will include Deciphering the Ballot, Casting Your Vote, Securing Your Vote, Counting your Vote, and registering to vote. We are inviting you to be a part of our civic engagement community events. It is our hope you will share your political expertise and journey with Bowie State University.
