Dreamgirls the Musical
2:30 PM
Music, ambition and love merge together in this trip to the top of the charts! Written by Tom Eyen and composed by Henry Krieger, "Dreamgirls" follows the story of three young Black women who change the sound of R&B as they crossover to dominate the White pop charts. Their rise tests the strength of their sisterhood and family, finding their own voice along the way.
Co-directed by Elena Velasco and Raven Wilkes, and music directed by Josh Sommerville, "Dreamgirls" is BSU Theatre’s culmination of the Department of Fine and Performing Art’s Back to Bold, Back to Life! Season, returning to in-person performances in their state-of-the-art 400-seat Main Stage Theatre.
