Self-care is a misunderstood concept, and is often confused with being self-ish. All-in-all, self-care and being self-ish are two very different ideals indeed. What makes the difference? Intent, purpose, and outcome. One brings a sense of life and renewal; the other...not so much. You can guess which is which. Just remember that there is no we or us without you. So, you have to take care of your-self without being self-ish.
