Juneteenth

Bowie State University will be closed on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth. Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States and is a day to reflect on freedom, history, and the ongoing journey toward equality. All classes and administrative offices will be closed. Normal operations will resume on June 20, 2025.
