HBCU Summit 2025

An HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) educational summit is a collaborative event that brings educators, leaders, and stakeholders from secondary and higher education institutions together. This summit is a platform for discussing evolving trends and practices and fostering innovation that focuses on education in the HBCU community and local school districts. This summit will feature a keynote speaker, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, all aimed at building stronger relationships within the HBCU community and with local education leaders such as local school districts, education unions, legislators, and community activists. This program is an extension of the Praxis event that was held in July 2024 due to the demand to meet the needs of both our Maryland aspiring educators, certificated membership, and ESP membership.
