Exploring Interventions for Black Men in Counseling: A Panel Discussion on Gambling

5:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Join the African Psychology Student Association for a powerful conversation on Black men in counseling.

Let’s talk about mental health, support, and breaking cycles.

This panel discussion will feature Demere Coker, a BSU alumnus of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program, and Dr. Pamela Bewer, a licensed clinical social worker.

Our panelists will explore the challenges Black men face in counseling, discuss both traditional and innovative ways to reduce problem gambling and share real, actionable strategies to interrupt harmful gambling behaviors.

Giveaways will be available for the first 100 attendees.

This event is part of Problem Gambling Awareness Month. Spread the word and bring a friend.
