Biography

Vanessa Patton-Scott is an Assistant Professor in the Counseling Department. She received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida, her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Central Florida, and her Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University-Atlanta.  She is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and a TBHI Certified Telebehavioral Health Practitioner in the State of Maryland. She has over ten years of clinical experiences with providing crisis intervention and counseling services to adolescents, adults, and families with issues related to trauma, life transitions, substance abuse, bereavement, self-identity issues, and mood disorders.
