In this hands-on and interactive session, participants will learn how to increase engagement and accessibility for all types of learners in online and web-supported classes and describe the main
Zoom Meeting toolbar as a host or participant.

Session II: Pedagogical Considerations for Teaching with Zoom on Blackboard Original and Ultra

(Virtual)

In this hands-on and interactive session, participants will learn how to increase engagement and accessibility for all types of learners in online and web-supported classes. And describe how to use the tools to facilitate different types of teaching methods (e.g., discussion, small group, collaboration, and lecture, etc.) during a virtual class/meeting session.

Session III: Teaching with Microsoft Teams Meeting (Hyflex).

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

o Schedule a meeting via BSU email or the Teams Desktop Application and browse.

o Describe how to join and host Microsoft Teams meetings

o Describe how to schedule and create meetings in Teams.

o Explore key features in Teams meetings that enhance teaching, advising, and learning.

Session VIII: Zoom Security Basics (Virtual)

Deploy safety and security features to help protect your account and participants on Zoom. By the end of this course, you'll be able to:

Describe ways to secure your Zoom account
Safeguard your meetings and webinars by implementing Authentication
Prevent: Configure a waiting room, require a passcode, require authentication
Act: Lock a meeting, remove a participant, suspend all participant activities
Report: Report on Zoom Trust & Safety.
