Meal Plans
A meal plan is mandatory for all students living on campus at Bowie State University, except for Capital Technology University (CTU) residences and The Nine, where it is not required. However, CTU and The Nine residents have the option to add a commuter or gold meal plan to their account. The last day to make changes to your meal plan is the add/drop date for 16-week courses.
Use It or Lose It Policy
All meal plans operate under a strict "use it or lose it" policy, meaning any unused flex dollars at the end of the semester will not carry over to the following semester.
The commuter meal plans operate under a strict "use it or lose it" policy, meaning any unused meal swipes or flex dollars at the end of the semester will not carry over to the following semester. It is essential for students to utilize their meal swipes and flex dollars throughout the semester to maximize the benefits of the plan.
The Gold meal plans with flex aims to accommodate the diverse dining preferences of both commuting and resident students, ensuring a well-rounded dining experience throughout the week.
