As Bowie State University continues to push boldly forward, we recognize that our research is more than a process, it’s a driver of innovation, opportunity and community impact. We are introducing the Kuali Research platform to provide a centralized system for managing sponsored research. Kuali Research helps you manage the entire process, from proposal development through award management and closeout, creating a more efficient and transparent research administration workflow. It provides the infrastructure needed to support competitive proposals, streamline operations and expand the impact of faculty and student scholarship.

How Kuali Research Helps You

  • Manage proposals, awards and compliance in one place

Once submitted:

After an award is received, you can:

  • View award details and budgets
  • Request amendments
  • Manage subawards
  • Track reporting requirements
  • Support closeout activities

The Kuali IRB module is used by faculty, students and staff conducting research involving human subjects. The system provides a centralized process for submitting and managing IRB applications while helping researchers remain aligned with compliance and review requirements.
