Presidential Inauguration
The scholarship was established in honor of President Breaux s late father, Alex J. Woodley II, a renowned track and field coach. Your gift will inspire generations of students to run the race to excellence in academics and athletics.
On April 12, 2018, Bowie State University celebrated the historic Inauguration of Dr. Aminta H. Breaux as its 10th president and first female president in the university’s 153-year history. A week of activities brought together the university community with the broader community to focus on President Breaux’s Racing to Excellence vision.
