BSU Police Officers Protect, Serve Campus Community

Well here are some ideal tips to help if that situation ever happens. Bowie State offers an on-campus police department which is also home to the Department of Public Safety. Officers are equipped with police authority under provisions of Title 13, Subtitle 6, Section 13-601 educational article of the Annotated Code of Maryland stated on the homepage of the Bowie State Police.

It is important to know whom protects the campus and its people, university law enforcement officials said. There is also an emergency system called BEES (Bowie Electronic Emergency System) where they alert students, faculty, and staff about different alerts around campus.
