Prologue
By Koda Myers
as the leaves were trodden from tires below
the moon watches as i coast from above
pedaling through the unknown
in search of beauty
my thoughts travel much faster than my speed
i am one with the wind
the world has come to a halt
all i can do is watch as it all passes fore my eyes
leaving traces for me to follow
but it seems i will never catch up with you
for where you travel roads cease to exist
i want to be where you are
across the rapids vast and wide
waves reach out to me
stretching beyond the eye
for where you go boats can’t pass your limits
i want to be where you are
skies call upon me
as i ascend to the clouds
souls flood the air
my movement is restricted
my breath has gone cold
my heart beats triple
i close my eyes
and imagine a life now without you
before i shed a tear
i open my eyes
to you in my arms
i am now where you are
