Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. Hyacinth

I’ll put hyacinths in my oatmeal

and make you for tea in the afternoon

to quench my heart of what we almost were

practicing alchemy in the moon

she's rekindling the spark of her life,

though the fire has gone cold.

 

- I’ll tuck our memories into a bed of linen so they don’t escape

me
