Due to inclement weather, Bowie State University will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All classes, office operations and on-campus activities are canceled. Residence halls will remain open. The Finance and Economics Club

The mission of the Finance and Economics Club is to engage the business students at Bowie State University in a process of career building through networking with other business organizations, institutions, and community groups. The club started in 2005 and has been one of the most active clubs on campus. It organizes trips to Wall Street every year for business luncheons, and it has an active guest speaker series. In the recent past it has also recruited Bowie State University students for a day-long event at Howard University, "The Wall Street on Campus," which has drawn business leaders from the financial service industry, including representatives from Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs.
