Fast Track Admissions
Bowie State University has partnered with Prince George’s County Schools to offer admission to qualified Prince George’s County Public Schools seniors. Together, we’re helping local students continue their education close to home while strengthening the connection between our schools and our community.
Start your journey with confidence — no essay, no recommendation letters, no application fee and test are optional.
Who is eligible for BSU Fast Track Admissions?
PGCPS high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA are eligible for BSU Fast Track Admissions.
How do I apply for BSU Fast Track Admissions?
Submit a BSU Fast Track Admissions Interest Form, along with your unofficial transcript. Once we receive both items, you will receive an email with instructions on how to complete the admissions process.
Will Bowie State use my weighted or unweighted GPA?
Bowie State will use your unweighted GPA when reviewing your transcript for admissions.
Do I need to submit my high school transcript?
You start by uploading your unofficial transcript directly to the inquiry form; however, Bowie State will need to receive your official high school transcript from PGCPS. Your final official transcript listing your graduation date must be submitted by Aug. 15.
