Noyce Scholarship
The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program aims to train highly qualified teachers who are committed to teaching in high needs schools.
Our program focuses on culturally responsive teaching, action research and methods for working with under-served populations. Through our partnership with Prince George's County Schools, our students get practical classroom teaching experiences throughout the program starting with Education 101 and culminating in a semester-long classroom internship during senior year.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Funds are available to juniors and seniors majoring in Science Education OR Mathematics with a concentration in Mathematics Education.
- All Noyce Scholars are required to teach in a high-needs school district for two years for each year of funding they are awarded.
Noyce Scholar Benefits
- One-year, $24,000 scholarship (outstanding candidates may be awarded two years of funding).
