Changes to Campus COVID Services
February 27, 2021
On May 11, 2023 President Biden will end the country’s public health state of emergency for COVID-19. Federally sponsored support services and programs will end at that time. BSU will also be making necessary changes that will affect community COVID-19 services on campus. Beginning February 27, 2023, the following changes will take effect:
- COVID Testing Center at the Thurgood Marshall Library will only be open Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
- COVID-19 symptom screening survey and COVID-19 badge will be disabled.
- Anyone testing positive should self isolate off campus for 5 days. Notify professors and/or supervisor. You may not return to the campus for in-person activities until you have completed the 5 full days of isolation off-campus. You should continue to wear a well-fitted mask for an additional 5 days while on campus. See the Testing & Contact Tracing web page for more information.
- Modified contact tracing will be provided by the Wellness Center during regular business hours only. See the Testing & Contact Tracing web page for more information

- Symptomatic students should test themselves prior to making an appointment at the Wellness Center. Positive results should be uploaded to the wellness portal and must include your name and date of test.
