Expanding the Conversation about the Vaccine

The university is in the final stages of working with county health officials to be able to offer the vaccine on campus to increase the number of persons vaccinated as we prepare to return for fall. More details about the fall opening plan will be provided on April 21.

The COVID-19 Coordinating Team is committed to providing the Bowie State University community with information to enhance understanding of the science and data behind efforts to curb spread of the virus. The video below shares insights from Black medical professions on their efforts to advance the conversation about the importance of taking the vaccine to protect our communities.

THE CONVERSATION: Between Us, About Us: Black doctors, nurses and researchers dispel misinformation and provide accessible facts about the COVID-19 vaccines that get to the heart of Black people’s questions.
