Student Town Hall Video & Upcoming Town Halls

As Bowie State University prepares to move into Phase Two of the Fall 2020 Return-to-Campus Plan, a series of town hall meetings is providing information to help students and employees stay up to date about the operational plans and safety precautions being taken by the university. If you missed today's town hall for undergraduate students and parents, you can watch the recording online on the Coronavirus Town Hall page.

Presentations from President Aminta Breaux and Dr. Demetrius Johnson, vice president for Student Affairs, highlighted the university's decision making processes that is science-informed, data-driven and values-based, putting the health and safety of our campus community first.  Students’ most prevalent questions about tuition and mandatory fees, housing and fall classes were addressed, along with plans for delivering  high-quality educational experience and student activities for both on-campus and remote students.

Several upcoming virtual town hall meetings are planned to share information and respond to questions of other campus shared governance groups. Please visit the Coronavirus Town Hall page, to access the upcoming sessions.
