Summer School 2020 Charges & Enrollment Extension
As part of Bowie State University’s response to COVID-19, summer 2020 mandatory fees have been adjusted to reflect reduced use of some on-campus services and to assist students during this pandemic crisis. As the university continues to offer services remotely for our students, faculty and staff, this modification to summer charges demonstrates our commitment to providing affordable access to education for our students. I would like to thank all members of the campus community for doing your part in making the best of this extraordinary difficult situation.
Below is the revised summer 2020 schedule of charges, which reflect the elimination of the construction, student activity, sustainability and intramural and recreation fees for the summer. The Student Center fee was substantially reduced to only cover required bond payments. The Bowie Card fee, which supports the Bulldog Connection infrastructure for online student transactions, was maintained, along with the technology and health services fees, as these services will continue to be available.
The tuition and fees below are charged to students’ accounts per credit hour for each course.
Please refer to the university website for any additional information related to summer session. The add/drop deadline for Summer School 2020 was extended to Friday, June 5 to allow more students to take summer courses.
