How can you protect yourself from COVID-19 during Homecoming? Remember that wearing a mask can substantially help reduce the spread of COVID, especially when at large indoor gatherings. If you choose not to wear a mask, social distance.

Other step to take:

• Wash hands or hand sanitize often
• Get tested if you have symptoms

With the onset of colder weather and new variants on the loose, COVID-19 is spreading faster than before and often without signs or symptoms. Bowie State University wants everyone to have fun at Homecoming this week and “don’t invite COVID home after Homecoming”!

If you think you’ve been exposed or are feeling any symptoms, don’t hesitate to get tested. It is the most effective way to stop the spread.
