Your Introduction to the Bulldog Community
Bowie State encourages new students to live in one of our First-Year Success Halls. On campus, you will find the community and strong support you need to enhance your college experience and reach your academic goals. Every day, our Bulldog residents enjoy a vibrant campus with tons of fun activities and multiple dining options just a short walk away.

Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community (ELLC)
Building Type: Multi-use complex with living, learning and retail space
Gender: Co-ed
Amenities: One- and two-bedroom furnished suites with common living areas. Each floor has a laundry room and a kitchenette with a sink, microwave, two-burner cooktop and refrigerator. Other features include a game room, fitness room and conference room, multiple TV lounges and Wi-Fi, plus a grab-and-go eatery on site.
Availability: Accepting applications for the first residents for fall 2021
Open to All Students
First-year and transfer students are invited to be among the first to live in the newest building on campus, the Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community to be immersed in an atmosphere charged with innovation and creative thinking. Students with a passion for entrepreneurship can also apply to join the Entrepreneurship Fellows, a cohort of students who will live in the ELLC and participate in focused entrepreneurship education programming supported with a makerspace, student business hatchery and business resource groups in the building. Capstone On-Campus Management leases and operates this community for BSU students.

Harriet Tubman Hall
Building Type: Traditional three-story residence hall with double rooms and community bathrooms and showers
Gender: Female
Staffing: One full-time resident director and five resident assistants
Amenities: Hall amenities include a laundry facility in the basement, air conditioning units in student rooms, and a lounge for studying, programs, and socializing. The lounge, located off the lobby, also includes vending machines and cable TV.
Towers Hall
Building Type: Six-story high rise with double rooms and community bathrooms
Gender: Female
Staffing: One full-time resident director and five resident assistants
Amenities: Hall amenities include laundry facilities and kitchenettes on alternating floors and a lounge for studying, programs, and socializing. The lounge, located off the lobby, also includes vending machines and cable TV.
Dwight Oliver Holmes Hall
Building Type: Traditional three-story residence hall with double rooms, community bathrooms and showers
Gender: Male
Staffing: One full-time resident director and three resident assistants
Amenities: Hall amenities include a laundry facility on the first floor, air conditioning units in student rooms, and a lounge for studying, programs, and socializing. The kitchen includes a small lounge area. The lobby has cableTV and vending machines.
Lucretia Kennard Hall
Building Type: Traditional three-story residence hall with double rooms and community bathrooms, and showers
Gender: Male
Staffing: One full-time resident director and three resident assistants
Amenities: Hall amenities include a laundry facility and vending machines in the basement and the lounge. The lounge is located off the lobby and is utilized for studying, programs, classes, and also has cable TV.
