Advising Appointments
The Academic Advising Center is now advising students on an appointment basis. You may schedule an appointment online through iCAN/Starfish. Refer to the Academic Advisor Directory if you are unsure of your advisor. Undecided majors should contact the Academic Advising Center.

- 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
NOTE: Students may walk into the office for academic advising (Thurgood Marshall Library, Lower Level, Suite 082).

Advising Basics
Academic Advising is mandatory for all students. You cannot register for classes until you have been advised and your registration hold is removed from your record by your advisor.
The Academic Advising Center will advise only students assigned to Advisors within the Academic Advising Center (AAC). AAC advisors along with their major and credit load assignments are as follows:
- Ms. Aura Gardner - Criminal Justice and Sociology, 0-59 credits
- Ms. Bridget Hodges - Business Administration, 0-45 credits
- Ms. Gloria Alexander - Business Administration, 46-89 credits
- Ms. Susan (Price) Murray - Psychology and Child & Adol. Studies, 0 – 59 credits
- Ms. Morgan Powell - Criminal Justice, Sociology, Child & Adol. Studies, 60-89 credits
- Ms. Tomilola Otukoya - Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Software Engineering, 0 – 59 credits
- Ms. Henri Cooper - Computer Technology, 0-59 credits
- Ms. Jontae Hankins - Early Childhood and Elementary/SPED, 0-45 credits, Sport Management, 0-89 credits
- Ms. Cheyene Adams – Art, Music, Music Technology, Theatre Arts, Visual Communications Digital Media Arts, 0-74 credits
- Mr. Dermaine Wardrick- Communications, History, Philosophy Politics & Economics and Undecided, 0-59 credits
