Institutional Grants for Experiential Learning

Institutional grants for experiential learning through Bowie State University are available for faculty and staff who are interested in embedding an experiential learning activity into their course or co-curricular opportunity. The criteria for this grant will be determined in the future. To apply for this institional grant, complete the Application for Experiential Learning Grant (coming soon).

PeopleGrove Stipends for Project-Based Learning

Through our partnership with Experiential Learning by PeopleGrove, faculty have the opportunity for an externally funded $500 stipend to connect and work with businesses and companies on project-based learning. Project-Based Learning (PBL) consists of faculty and students designing, developing, and constructing hands-on solutions to a business problem in collaboration with a business or company curated by PeopleGrove. Complete a Projects Application with Experiential Learning by PeopleGrove today and upload your course for them to connect with you with businesses and companies who are ready to partner with faculty such as yourself on project-based learning.
