Bowie State University has partnered with the National Student Exchange program to provide students with study away opportunities across the U.S., U.S. territories (Guam, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada. These partnerships allow you to complete course hours at a different host institution and have your credits transfer over as if you had taken them on Bowie State’s campus. You can study away for a semester or a full academic year.
In addition to being an opportunity to explore a new city and diversify your resume, the study away program allows you to take classes not offered at Bowie State University and work with professors from different colleges who are experts in their field. Schedule an appointment with your study away coordinator or attend an information session to begin the process.
Please note: If you are interested in studying somewhere that is not the U.S., U.S. territories or Canada, please see our Study Abroad Programs.
