Assistant Vice President

Wade G. Henley is the Assistant Vice President for Auxiliary Services at Bowie State University. He has been with the University since May 2011. Prior to arriving at Bowie State University, Mr. Henley worked for six years at the College of William and Mary as Associate Director of Auxiliary Services.

Overall, Mr. Henley brings to Bowie State University 24 years of management and business experience. He has owned numerous businesses including a Wise Potato Chip distributorship, pack and ship stores, boutique shop, lock and key store, video store, laundry mat and a hospital gift shop. Mr. Henley has worked as an executive with the Postal Service and also taught Entrepreneurship as an adjunct instructor at Old Dominion University. A native of Richmond, VA, he earned an executive master’s in business administration from University of Richmond, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
